Don’t Let Go of Your Faith

Have you ever found yourself standing on a promise from God only to be left waiting and waiting and wondering if it will ever come to pass? If you’re honest, you may have even heard those subtle thoughts that whisper, “It’s never going to happen. You’ve waited too long. Why don’t you just move on?”

But God’s Word gives us a clear and powerful instruction in moments like this: “Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)” (Hebrews 10:23 KJV).

When God speaks something to your heart — whether through His Word or by His Spirit — that promise becomes your place of faith, and your responsibility is not to figure out how it will happen, but to hold fast to the promise that it will.

Later in the same chapter, the instruction becomes even stronger: “Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward” (Hebrews 10:35 KJV)

The phrase “cast not away” paints a vivid picture — it means “to throw something aside like it’s no longer valuable.” That is exactly what the enemy tries to convince you to do with your faith. When the wait feels long or the pressure builds, he whispers that your faith is the problem.

But the truth is, your faith is not the problem — it is the very thing God is using to bring the answer to you.

Scripture goes on to tell us: “For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise” (Hebrews 10:36 KJV).

Patience here is not passive waiting — it is a firm, unmovable decision: “This is my place, and I’m not moving.” Even when pressure comes, even when circumstances try to push you out of position, you stay anchored in what God said.

Here’s the promise of acting in that kind of patience: If you stay in faith, the answer will come.

God is faithful. And what He has promised, He is able — and willing — to perform.

So today, make a decision:

Don’t throw that promise away.

Don’t back up.

Don’t let go.

Stay in faith.

In all the hustle and bustle of the holidays, it can be difficult to keep the true meaning of Christmas at the forefront, even for faithful believers. We want to encourage you to find a little bit of time every day during this season to simply get quiet and think about the purpose, power, and wonder of Jesus’ birth. Don’t Quit Now

No matter what path your race takes you on, what is most important is that you are running it for God. For you, that may look like doing your best work at your job and respecting your boss, or it may involve a significant sacrifice like giving up certain friends and habits or moving to another country. God has a plan for you, and He has equipped you to not just do it, but to do it well. If you are struggling to believe that, let these verses encourage you in your race today:

You have the Holy Spirit running alongside you and the whole Church cheering you on, so run your race well, knowing that no matter how difficult it feels, God is still in control, and His reward is what awaits you at the finish line!

Back-to-School Prayer Guide for Parents

As summer comes to a close and it’s time to send our children back to school, there are many things we as parents can do to prepare them for the year ahead. Whether they are in college, high school, middle school, or kindergarten, we have a responsibility to lead and guide them in the ways of the Lord.

Prayer is one of the most vital ways we can cover them. They will face new teachers, new classes, and new challenges — but God’s Word gives us promises we can pray over their lives.

Here is a list of things to pray for your children, with corresponding scriptures:

Let’s commit this year to the Lord and walk forward in confidence, knowing He is faithful.

A Parent’s Prayer

Heavenly Father, 

I thank You for the gift of my children. As they begin this school year, I ask for Your hand of favor to be upon them. Fill their hearts with peace, guard their minds with wisdom, and grant them understanding in all that they learn. Give them patience in every challenge and surround them with good friends and godly influences. Protect them from harm, provide for every need, and remind them daily that they are loved, chosen, and never alone. I place them in Your care and trust You to guide their steps.

Don’t Quit Now — The Word Is Working in You!

It’s easy to start strong, but staying consistent in your Bible reading is where the real growth happens. Whether you’ve been faithfully reading daily or you’ve fallen off the rhythm lately, this is your reminder: don’t stop now. God is speaking through His Word, and every time you open your Bible, He’s drawing you deeper into truth, hope, and transformation.

The Bible isn’t just a book — it’s your daily bread. It’s your source of strength, peace, and direction. When life gets busy or overwhelming, reading Scripture can feel like one more thing to do — but in reality, it’s the one thing that will center you, ground you, and equip you for everything else.

If you’ve put it down, pick it back up. If your time in the Word has been dry or distracted, keep showing up. God’s Word never returns void (Isaiah 55:11). Every verse you read is planting something powerful in your heart, whether you feel it in the moment or not.

Here are a few key verses to encourage you as you continue pressing in — not just once, but daily.

Ephesians 3:16-17 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love.

Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Isaiah 55:6-7 Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.

Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Deuteronomy 4:29-31 But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul. When you are in distress and all these things have happened to you, then in later days you will return to the Lord your God and obey him. These verses aren’t just for inspiration — they’re reminders of what happens when we keep showing up in the Word. God draws near to those who draw near to Him. There is reward in the pursuit. There is fruit in the consistency.

So keep going. Set that alarm, open that Bible, and let God’s Word speak into your heart every single day. Don’t let your Bible sit unopened — it’s alive and powerful, waiting to renew your mind, strengthen your faith, and shape your future.

You don’t need to feel something every time you read. Just keep reading. Keep seeking. Keep showing up. That’s how transformation happens.

Soldier for Him

The Lord has called fathers to be the head of the family and to lead like Christ would. Although it’s a great honor from God, fatherhood is not without its struggles. Very few are anointed to make sacrifices and have the strength, stability, and compassion to be a father and a good man of God, but to those who have answered that call — to lead with love, to serve with humility, and to protect with wisdom — know this: you are walking in holy footsteps.

Jesus didn’t lead with pride or power but with servanthood. He washed feet. He wept. He sacrificed. Ephesians 5:25 commands you, “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.” Christ is the perfect example of that spirit that God calls fathers to embody — not of perfection but of surrender, not of dominance but of discipleship. When you guide your family with patience, speak life into your children, forgive, and choose faith over fear, you reflect Christ Himself!

It’s easy to feel unqualified. The weight of responsibility, the demands of life, and the pressure to provide can be overwhelming. But the Lord says, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9). You don’t lead your family alone. The Holy Spirit empowers you, grace sustains you, and your obedience — day in and day out — is seen by Heaven.

Your role matters eternally. The prayers you pray over your children in the quiet, the example you set, even when no one is watching, and the way you love their mother are all seeds sown into generations. This is kingdom work. “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6).

So, to every father striving to walk in God’s will: be encouraged. Your efforts are not in vain. Your Father in Heaven sees you, equips you, and is proud of the man you are becoming.

This Father’s Day, may you rest in His love, be renewed in His strength, and be reminded that your leadership, rooted in Christ, is one of the greatest gifts you can give your family.
